Whilst not a large job it was a particularly challenging project over several months, removing an existing porch and a 2.4 meter high garden wall whereby we set aside all the stone to build a beautiful new entrance hall that looks like it was part of the original building, the stone that was left over we re-built a lower wall with steps as the photos show. Under-ground services also made life tricky.
